Extranet dashboard overview

Gain an understanding of the various types of information available in each section of your Hotel Link dashboard.

The Dashboard is the first page users see upon logging into the system. It displays an overview of the reservations received for the day, as well as the stayovers and check-out guests. Additionally, users can find information about conversion rates, website visitors, revenue, main booking sources, and more. The amount of information displayed depends on the solutions that are activated for the property. Below are all the info-boxes presented in the Dashboard.

Reservations

The "Reservations" section displays a list of reservations with the check-in date for today (arrivals), current guests at the property (stayovers), and reservations with the check-out date for today (departures). By hovering over the guest's name, you can view a tooltip with additional information about the reservation. The reservation box is only visible to properties that use the Booking Engine.

Bookings Today

The "Bookings Today" section displays the five most recent reservations received on the current day. The total number of reservations received is shown in the blue circle, while the total revenue generated from all reservations received on the day is displayed at the bottom. This box is also exclusively available for properties using the Booking Engine.

Contact Requests

The "Contact Requests" section displays the total number of messages sent by visitors through the contact form on your hotel website. This includes the total number of requests received in the past 30 days. This information is only available for properties using our website solution. Keep in mind that responding quickly to inquiries can increase the chances of conversion.

Website Traffic

The "Website Traffic" section is exclusively for properties using the website solution. It displays the total number of pageviews in the last 30 days, sourced from Google Analytics. For a more detailed report, visit the Website > Google Analytics module on the extranet. Additionally, permission can be granted directly on Google Analytics for access to all reports.

Conversion Rate

The conversion rate score indicates the number of unique visitors required on the website to receive a booking. It calculates the data from the past 30 days. The recommended conversion rates for well-established websites with high visitor traffic range from 2% to 5%.

Occupancy

The "Occupancy" section displays the percentage of room units occupied on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. It also lists the total occupancy of the property and up to three room types. To access more comprehensive data about your property's occupancy, please check the Room Occupancy Report. Please note that this information is only available to properties that are using the Front Desk module.

Average Daily Rate

The Average Daily Rate (ADR) indicates the revenue earned per occupied room in the property. It is calculated by dividing the total revenue earned from rooms by the number of rooms sold. The ADR information is exclusively available for properties that use the Front Desk module.


Key Metrics

This section displays the RevPAR (revenue per available room) and TRevPAR (total revenue per available room) for your property throughout the day, week, and month. RevPAR is calculated by multiplying a hotel's average daily room rate by its occupancy rate. Alternatively, it can be calculated by dividing total room revenue by the total number of rooms available in the period being measured. TRevPAR accounts for all the revenue generated by the property, including revenue from extras. This data is only available for properties using the Front Desk module. 

Key Numbers

The "Key Numbers" section shows the number of individual guests who have checked in, the total number of nights booked, and the average nights per booking throughout the selected period. The data is generated based on the booking's check-in date, and more details are available in the Performance report.

Daily Payment

The "Daily Payment" section shows the total number of payments collected in the last 30 days. The list displays the last three payments collected and the corresponding traveler's name. Complete payment details are available in the Daily Payment report.

Revenue

The "Revenue" section displays the total amount of income from all reservations based on the check-out date for the selected period. Complete revenue information is available in the Revenue reports.

Commissions

The "Commissions" section displays an estimated amount of commissions payable to OTAs. It is calculated using the total income from bookings received via Channel Manager. You can select the percentage based on the average commission you pay to OTAs. This data is only available for properties using the Channel Manager module with an active OTA connection.

Top Booking Sources

Shows the most popular bookings sources in the past 30 days. Additional statistics about your connected OTAs can be found on the channel manager page.
