Overview
The operational summary is a new dashboard feature that provides users with a quick, at-a-glance view of essential performance metrics. Designed to simplify daily monitoring, it helps teams track key operational data without the need to open multiple reports.
Here are the data included in this summary:

Key KPIs: Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, Total Revenue, and TRevPAR

A day-by-day booking chart for the current and upcoming week

Top Booked Room Nights: by Sales Channels, by Room type
In case you want to view the details, there is Daily operation report by bookings.
How to Access
To access this summary, log in the extranet > go to the Dashboard. It will be allocated below the Todolist as a default.
Understanding the operational summary

(1) The filters:
- Date range dropdown: Select the time period that you want to view the summary. The dropdown includes the following options:
- This week: Displays data from Monday to Sunday of the current week (the week containing today).
- Next week: Displays data from Monday to Sunday of the following week, i.e., the week after the current week.
- This and next week Combines data from the current week and the next week, totaling 14 days.
- Next two weeks Starts from Monday of the next week and includes the following two weeks (14 days).
- This month: Displays all days in the current month, from the 1st to the last day of the month.
- Next month: Displays all days in the next month, from the 1st to the last day of that month.
- How it works: Click this button to know how to use this feature.

- Retrieve data: This option reloads the data and updates the summary with the latest changes. You can use this button once every 5 minutes. During this period, the button will be disabled and display the remaining time until the next retrieval is available.
(2) Key metrics:
The operational metrics will include the following data:
- OCC (Occupancy rate): The percentage of rooms sold compared to the total number of available rooms.

Total Revenue (Sum of all confirmed booking revenue within reporting period): Displays the total confirmed revenue from all bookings.

ADR (Average Daily Rate): Room revenue divided by the number of rooms sold.

RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room): Room revenue generated per available room.

TrevPAR (Total Revenue per Available Room): Total revenue (including additional services) per available room.
(3) Booked - Available rooms chart:
Use this tab to view the booked and available rooms of your hotel.

Booked (Demand) (Booked rooms × Nights stayed): Number of room nights sold within the selected date range.

- To know the details, you can view the daily operation report.

Available (Supply) (Sellable rooms × Nights): Number of available room nights (excluding blocked, closed, or out-of-allotment rooms) within the selected date range.

There are 2 numbers:

{1} shows the total room nights of all room types for that date.

{2} shows the total room nights available of all room types for that date. The total room nights available of all room types for today and all future dates will be shown on top of the chart:

- To know the details, you can click 'View all availability'. It will redirect you to Rates & Availability page.

(4) Top booked room nights
- Here is the ranking of the booking channels/room types with the highest number of room nights sold (Top Booked Room Nights) within the selected period.
- There are 2 tabs:
- Top channels:
- Channels are sorted in descending order based on room nights booked. The highest number (in the top 1 position) represents the channel with the most room nights booked.
- If two channels have the same number of room nights, the secondary sorting is based on revenue.
- For example: Booking.com is the top booking channel with 15 bookings. These bookings include 52 room nights booked and generate a total revenue of 21,000,000 VND.
- Top room types:
- Room types are sorted in descending order by room nights booked. The highest number (at the top) represents the room type with the most room nights booked.
- If two room types have the same number of room nights, they are ranked based on % OCC, with higher OCC placed first.
- For example: Bungalow Deluxe Family room is the top room type with 52 room nights booked. This room has the OCC is 20% and generates a total revenue of 21,000,000 VND.
