      What is the 'Payout Details'?

      The 'Payout Details' allows you to track and manage payments for reservations made through Booking.com. It provides transparency by detailing the amounts collected by Booking.com and those payable directly by guests. The feature also breaks down charges for each room, including taxes and fees, making it easier for you to manage your bookings efficiently.

      Why Use This Feature?

      The "View Payout Details" feature helps you:

      Enhance Transparency: Clearly see how funds are processed and disbursed. Understand the amount collected by Booking.com on behalf of the hotel and the amount the hotel will collect directly from the guest during their stay.

      Simplify Financial Management: Understand the breakdown of payments, charges, and all applicable fees and taxes for each reservation.

      Track Payments Easily: Monitor bank transfers and VCC transactions without hassle.

      Step-by-Step Guide

      Follow these steps to access and use the 'Payout Details':

      1. Access Booking Management

      • Log in to your Hotel Link account.
      • Navigate to the Booking Engine section and select Booking Management.
        (If you're using Front Desk, go to Front Desk > Booking Management instead.)

      2. Select a Reservation

      • Locate the reservation you want to view.
      • Click on the reservation to open the detailed booking page.

      3. Open the Payout Details

      • Click on the 'Payout Reservation' tab.
      • Here, you'll find all the relevant payout details, including:
        • The total payout amount.
        • Payment method used (VCC or Bank Transfer).
        • A breakdown of charges for each room in the reservation.

      How It Works

      It simplifies payment tracking by offering clear and detailed payout information.

      Here's what it includes:

      • Payout Information: A summary of the funds disbursed by Booking.com to your property for reservations.
      • Payout Method: Payments are processed using one of the following methods:
        • VCC (Virtual Credit Card): Funds are transferred via a secure virtual credit card, which can be accessed and charged directly from your dashboard if you are using Hotel Link Pay.

        • Bank Transfers: Payments are sent directly to your bank account, with a detailed record of each transaction available for reference.

      Note: Payouts via Virtual Credit Cards (VCC) and bank transfers are available only if your property is enrolled in Payments by Booking.com.       • Room-Specific Charges (Room Breakdown): This section provides a comprehensive pricing breakdown for each room in a reservation. It includes details such as:
        • VAT
        • Applicable taxes
        • Additional fees
