Scenerio
When you have booking condition setting is Deposit Type is any type, except for 'No deposit', this means that at the time of booking, the traveller has to make a partial payment to confirm the reservation.
For example: The traveller has to pay 50% of the booking amount to confirm the reservation at the time of booking:
However, the traveller can make a reservation without payment. Besides, the system only requires the full payment at check-in date.
Solution
To solve this issue, you need to check the payment method setting in the extranet. To access the Payment Method setting, go to Booking Engine > Setup > Payment Methods
Once the Payment Method is 'No Payment details collected, all bookings are accepted', the traveller can make a reservation because there is no payment method to collect the deposit even though you have set the deposit setting.
You can change the payment method to another payment method so that the deposit will work for the future bookings.
