It's important to note that not all properties allow same-day bookings. Therefore, it's crucial to learn how to either block or set a specific time limit for receiving same-day bookings.
There can be many reasons why you do not want to accept same-day reservations – when a guest books and arrives on the same day. In the Booking Engine you can prevent same day arrival bookings or define the hour limit to receive bookings on the same day following these steps:
- Go to Booking Engine > Setup > Settings
- Click on ‘Same Day Booking Time Limit’
- Select on the dropdown menu the cutoff hour. For example: If the set hour is 14:00, travelers won’t be able to book the accommodation on the same day after 14:00. To always receive last minute bookings set the time to 23:30.
To prevent same day bookings from happening, set the time to 00:00.
