Discover how adding a simple confirmation line to guest invoices can help prevent chargebacks and keep both the hotel and guest protected.
This sentence is currently applied for Vietnam market.
Purpose
To help deal with cases where cardholders ask for a chargeback on purpose, the Hotel Link Pay team suggests adding this confirmation statement to the Guest Invoice for every booking:
“I confirm that the hotel has provided the full and correct room/service as booked.”
Why This Matters

Proves that the guest got the room/service they booked

Protects the hotel when there are payment disputes.

Keeps things clear and fair for both the guest and the hotel.
How to display this sentence
- Go to Booking Engine > Setup > Settings page
- Scroll down to Accounting section > Show confirmation sentence in invoice. If you select:
- Yes: the confirmation sentence will be displayed at the bottom of the invoice.
- No: the sentence will not appear in the invoice.
- Yes: the confirmation sentence will be displayed at the bottom of the invoice.
The system shows this sentence as “Yes” by default.
