Check if your website is indexed by Google

Discover if search engines like Google have indexed your website.

How to check

To check if search engines like Google have indexed your website use the "site:" operator: Go to Google and enter the following search query in the search bar, replacing "yourwebsite.com" with your actual website domain. For example 'site:www.hotellinkdemo.com'.

The results will display all the pages of your website that have been indexed by Google, with the Meta Tags defined in the extranet for each website page. To learn more about Meta Tags, please read this article. If you don't see any of your pages, it indicates that your website hasn't been indexed yet.

Google Search Console and your website sitemap

At Hotel Link, we take the initiative to ensure that your website is well-optimized for search engines. As part of our services, we submit your website's sitemap to Google via Google Search Console. But what exactly is Google Search Console? It's a powerful tool provided by Google that allows website owners and webmasters to monitor and manage their site's presence in Google's search results.

Through the Search Console, you can gain insights into how Googlebot views your site, identify and fix any indexing issues, track search traffic, submit sitemaps, and receive important notifications from Google. By using this invaluable tool, we can help your website get the visibility it deserves, ultimately driving more traffic and potential guests to your hotel.

Website ranking

Keep in mind that, even if Google indexes your website relatively quickly, reaching high rankings in search results often takes more time and effort, as it depends on factors like the quality of your content, competition, and the effectiveness of your SEO efforts. Additionally, Google's algorithms are complex and can impact how your site is ranked and displayed in search results.
