As discussed in [this article](https://help.hotellinksolutions.com/booking-conditions-and-cancellation-rules?hsLang=en), the default booking policies set up in the Booking Engine apply universally to all rate plans. Since not all rate plans are identical, follow the steps below to apply a custom booking policy to a specific rate plan. #### Custom Booking Conditions You can create custom booking conditions for individual room types by setting up cancellation policies and penalties at the rate plan level. This will override the general booking conditions that were set up in the Booking Engine \> Setup. To customize the booking conditions for a rate plan, follow these steps: - Go to Booking Engine \> Rooms. - Select the Rate Plan you want to customize. - Select the "Custom" option in the Booking Conditions section within the rate plan settings. ![How to create custom booking policies](https://help.hotellinksolutions.com/hs-fs/hubfs/How%20to%20create%20custom%20booking%20policies.png?width=688&height=425&name=How%20to%20create%20custom%20booking%20policies.png) -
