This feature within the website module allows you to create extra pages on the hotel website beyond the default ones.
Creating extra pages on your hotel website beyond the default ones can be a strategic decision that depends on various factors, including your hotel's goals, target audience, and the depth of information you want to provide.
If you have specific information that goes beyond what the default pages cover, creating additional pages can help in providing a comprehensive and detailed view of your hotel, services, and amenities.
Here are a few examples of additional pages that you should consider creating:
Special Offers or Packages: If your hotel frequently offers special deals, promotions, or packages, having dedicated pages for these can effectively showcase and market these offerings to potential guests.
Events and Celebrations: If your hotel hosts events, weddings, or special celebrations, creating pages specific to these events can help in targeting a particular audience and providing essential details.
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions): If you receive common inquiries from guests, having a dedicated FAQ page can address these questions and provide helpful information.
Types of extra pages
Internal: A web page that is part of the website's internal structure and content.
Embedded: A web page that is seamlessly integrated from another webpage or platform.
Code: An internal page that you can customize using your own code.
External: A redirection page that directs users to a page outside of the website.
How to create an extra page
To create an extra page for your website, please follow the steps below:
Navigate to Website > Website Development > Extra Pages.
Click on 'add new extra page'.
Select the extra page type that you want to build (see options above)
In the pop-up that appears, enter all the necessary information for the extra page:
- Page title
- Page URL
- Page content
- Page Meta Title and Meta Descriptions
The extra page types 'Embedded' and 'Code' will required an Embedded URL and a HTML code respectively. Embedding a webpage or content involves using HTML code or specific embed codes provided by the source website to display that content within a different website.
When content is embedded, it usually appears as if it's a natural part of the host website. The user often doesn't realize they are viewing content from a different source.
