In-house extras is only available for properties using our Front Desk. Similar to booking extras, but are primarily used to create a list of all internal consumption items.
Create an in-house extra
- Navigate to Front Desk > In-house Extras.
- Click on 'Add new in-house extra' located at the upper right of the page.
- A popup titled 'Add New Item' will appear. Enter the name of your Booking Extra.
- Choose the category for the extra. By default, they are all created under the General category.
- If needed, click on 'Edit Categories' to modify existing categories or add new ones.
- Enter the price of the extra and any applicable tax.
- Click on 'Save' to finalize.
Add a in-house extra to a booking
To add extra services to a booking, follow these steps:
- Go to Booking Engine > Booking Management.
- Find the specific booking you wish to update.
- Enter the reservation to access the Booking Details page.
- In the Rooms & Extras section, click on the 'Action' menu.
- Choose the option 'Add new extra'.
- In the 'Add New Extra Item' popup, select the desired service to add.
