Sold out cases on Booking Widget

Understand the reasons why rooms show as 'Sold out' on your Website or Booking Widget, even when available in the system.

If you see that rooms are marked as "sold out" on the website or booking widget, even though there are still rooms available in the extranet, then you should check certain settings — which will be listed afterward.

  • Rates & Availability page:

    • On Monthly Rate Plan Update tab, you need to check the following settings: Stop sell, Close to Arrival (CTA), Close to Departure (CTD), Release Period. To know how these restrictions can affect your rooms on the website/booking widget, click here.

    • If there is no setting on Monthly Rate Plan Update tab, then check Channel Override tab. You should check if you set specific settings for the direct channels (Standard rate). To know how, click here.

  • Yield Management page:

    • On Yield Management page, check if there is any 'Auto Close' yield rule or not. Stop sell can be activated based on Yield rules.

    • If you don't want to use 'Auto Close' rule anymore, click 'delete'.

  • Payment method page:

    • If you have Payment method is 'Bank deposit', you need to check the Restrict Bank Deposit Payment Option setting. The setting may prevent a booking from being made if the booking date < the number of days before check-in date.

    • Besides, in case you still want to remain the setting above, if you have only one payment method as Bank Deposit, please add at least one more payment method so that travellers can make a reservation via your website/booking widget.
