The 'On Request' feature allows hotels to receive booking requests from guests, even when the availability for a particular room is currently at zero. When a guest makes an 'On Request' booking, they are essentially expressing interest in booking a room that may not be immediately available. The hotel staff needs to confirm the availability and respond to the guest accordingly.

How to use the 'On Request' feature

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to use the 'On Request' feature effectively:

  • Access the Hotel Link Extranet
  • 2. Navigate to the settings based on what solution you’re using:
    • Website > Website Development > Reservations > On Request Rooms
    • Booking Widget > On Request Rooms
  • Activate or deactivate the 'On Request Rooms' feature.

When submitting a booking request, travelers will encounter the following message throughout the booking request process and within the email notification they will receive:
