Payment methods in booking details

To make the booking process seamless and convenient, we offer multiple payment methods in booking details. Choose a suitable payment method for the booking payment management.

Step-by-step guide

Go to booking details of the booking to access the Payment section.

Scroll down to the Payments section > Actions. There are 2 cases:

  • (1) If you are not using Hotel Link Pay, you can:
    • Add new payment (Payment Log): by adding a new payment, you can select the payment method, enter the amount and specify the payment status. For example, if your guest is making a payment via bank transfer, you can create a payment with a Pending status. Once the transfer is confirmed, you can update the status to Received.

      Adding the payment method 'Credit Card (manually)' will provide you with the option to securely store the card details in the system. Once the card details are stored, you will be able to view them based on the specified card viewing rules. More info on this article.

    • Request online payment: this option will trigger an email to the guest with a payment request. They will receive an email with the booking confirmation with all the booking details - check-in/out dates, items booked, policies, payment status, etc. The email will provide them with a link to access a secure page and submit the payment or the card details to secure the booking. Note: Features provided by Hotel Link Pay will be visible but disabled . To enable these features, the hotel must activate Hotel Link Pay by clicking:

    • Active now: You will be redirected to the Hotel Link Pay page to set up the information.
    • Contact Sales: Our system will send an activation request email to our Sales team.
  • (2) If you are using Hotel Link Pay, you can:

Besides the two payment methods on the top, you can:

    • Add new card: This will open a form where you can input the card information manually. For details, click here.
    • Charge Card: Directly charge the card for the booking
    • Add new pre-authorization: Capture a temporary amount hold on a guest's card to ensure payment
    • Request card details: This option will trigger an email to the guest with a card details request. The guest has to fill out the card details.
    • Schedule new payment: Set up an automatic charge for future payment
